As the name implies, the double bonds of CLAs are conjugated. CLA is best known for its anti-cancer properties, and has been also found that the cis-9, trans-11 form of CLA can reduce the risk for cardiovascular disease and help fight inflammation.

CLA FFA 80  is a clear, colorless to slightly yellow liquid oil at room temperature fully transparent with characteristic taste and odor. CLA FFA 80 consists of free fatty acids, of which approximately 78%-82% are conjugated linoleic acid. The product is derived from Non-GMO safflower oil and contains a 1:1 ratio of the active conjugated linoleic acid isomers (C18:2 c9, t11 and C18:2 t10, c12). CLA FFA 80 is intended for use in the dietary supplement and food industry.

Packaging: 50 kg or 180kg in inner coated steel drums blanketed with nitrogen.

Solubility: Insoluble in water; sparingly soluble in ethanol, miscible with organic solvents, vegetable oils and fats.

Storage Conditions: The product should be stored in airtight drums under nitrogen atmosphere to reduce oxidation. The product should not be stored in uncoated drums as the free fatty acid may react with iron resulting in increased oxidation leading to a reduced quality in color and an increase of oxidized products.

Shelf Life: The product is stable for at least 2 years if drum has not been opened. If drums have been opened for sampling or use, the headspace must be flushed with nitrogen prior to re-storing.

Microencapsulated Conjugated Linoleic Acid EE is processed from a oil containing 78% to 82% ethyl ester of CLA wholly derived from Non-GMO Safflower seed Oil, White to slightly yellow powder. Its ingredients are CLAEE Oil min.50% and Modified starch min.40%
